Draft dated 23 October 2026, not yet approved by Premium Business IT.

PBIT Hosting terms of service

These terms cover website hosting supplied by Premium Business IT Pty Ltd (PBIT, we, us) through PBIT Hosting. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

We host your website on servers in Australia, take daily off-site backups, apply server and security updates, monitor uptime and SSL certificates, and look after the DNS records we manage for you. What is included depends on your plan, shown on the Billing page.

2. What you look after

You, or your web developer, are responsible for the website itself: its content, design, plugins and themes you choose, forms and how the site sends email, and the accounts and passwords you give out. We will tell you when we see something that needs attention, and we can help as a separate paid job if you ask.

3. Fees and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which is added to your invoice. Plans are billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe, unless we have agreed in writing to invoice you. If a payment fails we will let you know; if it is still unpaid after 14 days we may suspend the service until it is paid.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. The service continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and is not refunded for part periods unless the law requires it. Before the end date you can ask us for a copy of your site and database.

5. Backups

We keep daily backups for the retention period of your plan and test restoring them every six months. Backups reduce the risk of losing data but cannot remove it, so keep your own copy of anything you cannot replace.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the service for anything unlawful, to send spam, to host malware or phishing, or in a way that puts other customers at risk. We may suspend a site that does, and will tell you why.

7. Changes to your site

Before we change your live site (for example a PHP version or a plugin update) we record how it was set up and how to reverse the change. We do not restore a backup over your live site without your agreement.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows, our liability for a failure of the service is limited to supplying the service again or refunding the fees for the affected period.

9. General

We may update these terms and will give you 30 days notice of any change that affects you. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland.
